I wanted to make something with mainly blue and gray tones, I like how this came out a lot. I went for a more grungy industrial kind of feel, but still tried to keep the softness that most of my pieces have.

The title is fitting in my opinion, because according to dictionary.com, livid means, "having a discolored, bluish appearance; dull blue, dark, grayish-blue; enraged; furiously angry."

stocks used from =resurgere (the pack with the ripped paper is great, I love it!)

The grungy look you went for with the ripped paper is ok, but compared to the whole HDRI mapped sexy render, it seems EXTREMELY low-qual. The colors don't match as well as they seem that they should, and I'm not liking the tire-tracks all over the place.

I'm sorry, Ice, but I don't like it. :(

nah it's fine, I appreciate your opinion. It does seem low quality in areas, your right. And the "tire tracks" are just the render in grid/wireframe form. I tried to experience with different techniques for the bg, so I 'prolly won't do that again. :XD:

A real departure from most of your other stuff--I'm not surprised with drax's reaction there.

Personally, I really like this--the "grunge" look--the contrast between the clean, smooth lines of the object and gritty, modern backgoun creates a really pleasing atmosphere.

The colors are nice--you're very talented with the muted blues and greys, and you brought alot of those effects, combined with some grreattt lighting, in here: i like the washed out, blinding feel of the top, compared with the really dark, almost all black bottom. Very nice

Ah well, I'm not sure about the background either...it does seem like low quality, especially in the left part of the image. Although it doesn't look bad, it somehow fits to the shap of the render. Still, I'm sure you know that feeling, when something's just doesn't work out, yet you can't point the finger at it.

I do like the colors and contrasts, they not only fit to the title, but also to your nick :D
By the way, have you though about adding the title in the picture itself? I personally think that this would fit very well in the lower right corner ;)
